A letter to the families of Ewa Beach.
Competitive club soccer on Oʻahu shouldn't be a privilege of geography or income. For too long, the families of Ewa Beach — including hundreds of military families stationed at JBPHH — have had to commute across the island for serious player development.
Ewa United exists to change that.
We are a Hawaiʻi nonprofit, applying for 501(c)(3) status, built so any child who wants to play can play. Low fees. Payment plans. Sibling discounts. A real scholarship fund. PCS-aware enrollment for our military ʻohana. A kit exchange so outgrown jerseys go to the next kid, free.
And we are serious about development. Every coach in this program holds an active U.S. Soccer grassroots license, passes SafeSport, clears a background check, and teaches a shared club curriculum — so the player who joins us at U8 sees the same DNA at U14.
We're starting small. Four founding teams in 2027: U8 Boys, U8 Girls, U7 Boys, and U7 Girls. We will grow at the pace our community can sustain — and not a step faster. The families who join the founding class will be the ones who shape what comes next.
